It is astonishing, creation is amazing, and we are blessed to witness it, never to be taken for granted. I am amazed at the powerful faith of those who think it all happened by chance.

Such true thoughts here... If I am facing a particularly stressful situation in a day, besides telling myself in how many short hours it will "all be over!", another comforting technique is to look, as you remind us so appositely here, at the face of the natural world all around me... in particular at the face of my dog who, "Quite, frankly, my Dear, don't give a damn" to make me realise that whatever MY subjective trauma, the objective perspective is blissfully unaware. Sure helps me to get a handle on my preoccupations! But, the other aspect to this is, of course, the chemicals that seem to be released into the bloodstream with any kind of heightened emotion... are they ALL adrenal in nature? You speak here of both the balmy tranquilisers and the intensifying "uppers"... both required to steer a steady course through the turbulent waters of intense emotional feeling. Along with your turmoil, I also find the picture "disturbing" for some reason... Somehow reminds me of that acid stomach! :)) It's been a long day and I'm extra-special rambling... not sure, in that case, that No Response might have been better in this instance! Good to see you takin time out after your tiring move to appreciate the greater wonders of life in the universe. Get a good night's sleep and wake to record for us the next spectacular dawn! K xx
