She couldn't help but eat his words
They are so delicious
She loves to  swallow all his poetry
It is  very nutritious
She spreads her bread with his rhyme
It tastes divine
His eloquent prose flows so smoothly
she sips it like wine
He voices verbs with naughty nips
Her senses come alive
Each phrase deftly kisses her lips
Makes her body thrive
He pacifies her petulance with pronouns
Making no pretense
His romantic genre seductive and sensual
Uses  no past tense
He is her adored poet for all time,
Always pleasing her in meter and rhyme

Delightfully delicious and intriguing. However odd it may seem, I have never been attracted to writers in a romantic sense. This is really quite strange since I love words, conversation and writing. Perhaps I have always found reading someone's writings to be too personal, showing their vulnerability and perhaps I sensed that I would know too much of their inner soul, from the gate, to be comfortable starting a romantic relationship with them. It is like having an unfair advantage or holding the trump card; I would always wonder if I would, at some point, find a way to use it to my own advantage or worse, against them. Wonderful, wonderful poem, Eileen.

Take care,

Sherry

This certainly seems like a blessed tribute to a mystery person chum. But for the life of me it seems like an analogy about something mysterious. Maybe I'm just coo-coo!
