Two Faced Storm

I am a stone sculpture
honed by the wind and rain
of a storm that won't quit
I have been probed prodded
pushed and pelted into this
shape that is foreign to me
by this intense storm that has
all the elements to change
everything  in it's path

Then suddenly I feel you
in the breeze, that sings
through the trees, I taste
you in the salt of my tears
as  you whisper in my ear
the beautiful poetry that
you wrote just for me I'm
no longer a stone statue
your love has made me new
embraced in your warmth
I celebrate  life with you~

This is an amazing write; the bitter exterior made tender by perfect love. HIS perfect love! My new favorite of your many favorites. :) DEFINATELY a keeper. Yes. Thank you!!

You've very nicely deliniated the nature of true relationships. Two face the storm, and two will survive it.

a storm just by its own essence has two fronts ... a beginning and an end .... there is the anticipation of its arrival and the aftermath of its fury ... however we view it, it has its own inherant beauty ... just as this poem does ...
