The intensity of the beam surprised
my eyes as it became one with the
lake I felt its power as I swam back
to shore, to the fire and my friends 
 
I was captivated by the path the
moonmade on the water, wondering
if they spoke to each other

I thought the vibration I had felt
in the water when I passed the
moonbeam, was  caused by their
method of communication

My friends called me to join the
circle and story telling around
the fire,but I told them I wanted
to rest a bit while drying

I lay there watching the path
the moon made in the water
suddenly a shadowy  figure
appeared on it walking towards me

I was mesmerized,as it came closer 
it whispered "the water and moon
share the same tune,just as you do
when you talk to Creator!"

Then I realized I had dozed off
and must have dreamed the vison
but as I told my friends it made
perfect sense to me

Later  before getting in bed  I looked
out the window to say goodnight to
lake and moon, I felt their answers
within me croon
