Poem Artwork

Some things seem to move in liquid form
in dreamscapes where mysteries are born
to  flow through earths placenta

When I awoke in mysterious dimensions
At first I knew not  the intentions
then came the display

I walked through wondrous worlds of gold
in which the bright  lights took control
that kept the darkness at bay

The rainbow of rationality hovered over me
neutrons of new beginnings my energy
an example of awesome power that is to be

Yet there were many realms  to come
whose ways were black enough to numb and keep us from the "Way"

That hour when molten matter descends destructive forces converge to rend
earth unto ashes gray

Afterwards the universe will shed some skin
the race once known as human will thin
heralding the perfect day

Wow! What a write, very thought provoking indeed. Your words are powerful and touch the depth of one's soul. I am glad that we are in the hands of a God who is in control, but at the rate that people are destroying our wonderful and beautiful earth that the Lord has provided us so graciously with...I wonder if He is tired of the destruction, waste, and greed! I wonder when He will say enough is enough! Afterall, comparing our earth now to the days in the Garden of Eden, well mankind's greed for money, fame, and for many a title and others no reason is slowly eating away the beauty and the resources which were meant to be plentiful...again a great write, great picture and a definate thought provoker!
Blessings,
Joyce Bowling

Both exhilarating and sobering, Eileen. And the picture is, as Andy says, incredible. This gives me both a head for heights and the fear of the ground breaking up under my feet... It teaches me awareness and appreciation, for which I thank you. Kate xx

E.T. this poems gives the reader many things to think about...once in darkness but saved by His light! Once the light comes into our lives the darkness shall fade. Through HIM all things are possible! I like the picture too!

Eileen,

This is beautifully imaged and penned. God's power is a mystery, yet we, His children, get to behold His wonders to perform! Well done, another keeper in the "Eileen" files of my library. :)

Will it thin, or be entirely eliminated - that's the question. And that is one mesmerizing graphic.

Eileen, the insight you have in pen capture the depth of our souls. We each fear the unknown. Hopefully the hands of the lord will have taken me before such destruction. When I read this piece of your work, it remind me of Nostradamus, and his predictions. A beautiful thought in this poem. I salute you for splendid writing.

Kickin' back the population would go a long way towards preserving the planet. Perhaps even life here has a natural ebb and flow that will continue no matter what we do. Perhaps "global warming" is just a phase of a pre-existing cycle and perhaps our planet has been through it before. Maybe like a forest fire, it is required to cut back on the old and allow space for the new growth. There is so much more going on here and throughout the universe that we have not even begun to understand...dreams and meditations seem to open the door that allows us to see what we never knew existed. Nice work, Eileen.
Take care,
Sherry
