Poem Artwork

I stand alone midst surf and sand
Darkness breached by cherry sun
Listening to sea nymphs sing in fun
Pondering the beauty of God's hand

I picture the delight of heavens surprise
To frequent places where Angels dwell
And saints their many tales to tell
Between the earth and the skies

Enrapt in the awesome ways of Universe
That give pleasures beyond imagination
Unless one chooses the way of deviation
And the possibility of the demons curse

How grand looms the horizon before me
I have yet to enjoy  magnificent sights
The moon will ascend in indigo night
Daring my thoughts to reveal its mystery

I stand alone midst surf and sand
The moon now full and tugging tides
Among the waves my mind takes rides
Enjoying a dream of those distant lands

Eileen,

Magnificent imagery in verse takes the reader where you are, and makes them richer for having read your poetry. Thank you; you've blessed me and honor the Creator in beautiful form! Reads like a Psalm. Well done!
