No matter which path you take treachery awaits, it permeates the very air we breathe,because it has been used throughout the ages by almost every human that ever lived
How can one avoid it when the human condition is so prone to lying, even about the simplest things,it becomes second nature
phone rings, someone answers,"sorry she isn't here right now,can I take a message" while"She" is sitting right there directing the liar
Of course we wouldn't call that a lie,just an excuse not to be bothered with phone calls at that particular time for whatever the reason
Yet two people were involved in the little bit of scheming,which happens so routinely and makes it even easier for other more elaborate shams
What is treachery? just the sound of the word shouts what it is...when people plot ways to deceive, it never seems as bad as the word sounds unless of course it is criminal
I believe our society is the most treacherous it has ever been, and because we are so inured to it,we are in a state of confusion, since we no longer know whom to trust
I fear for our future because I truly do not know who to vote for in our coming elections,and I don't trust any of the people running for president, to be any different than the liars who are now in office of any party throughout our government!

I have to agree about the phone part the most. Just be honest with someone and say I'm busy at the moment. I do not believe in that stuff. I love caller id because now if it's someone I don't want to talk to I don't have to pick up. And my true friends understand that if I don't answer the phone I am resting my brain, my mind and soul. Not a poem, but a plea. As long as political life requires compromising your beliefs to get ahead in your chosen party and big bucks to buy publicity, all candidate will be suspect.

and when they do the negative energies complicate and grow, moreso than the positive. When people give out negative, then their backs are burdened even though they won't realize until later down the line. The law of averages always can kick you backwards more than once. It is sad that a poet who interacts with diversity can think this way. Andy has shown that he would feel happy if all Muslims were killed today. Rest assured that Muslims are here to stay forever and Islam will penetrate every heart on earth. Let us work together to end treachery, hate, injustice and inappropriate ways of thinking. Let us all think like Eileen, for she is a great poet of peace.

Yup the world needs another Churchill.
A man who is not pc, a man who will stand up against an evil culture, without fear or appeasement, is who we require, even intern or throw out wrong thinking muslims.. Bringing back family values, and standing for real Christendom, putting those values back in to school.
Not running from conflict but taking it head on... Not letting the rich man get fat, whilst the poor, ex military man dies in a cardboard home...

Sad, isn't it.
Their body language doesn't fit with what comes out of their mouths.
So far, I don't believe any of them. Makes you want to shake the bag to see if there is anybody else in there.
I will provide a biscuit in every bowl,
Water enough for a day or more, & teach us all how to in the grass roll,
Twice a day he only needs to go out for a stroll,
To be President is my one and only goal...Rufuz (oh & ed)
It's unfortunate that liars are clothed as truth in politics and while both parties use this method to get elected there is always one that is the master of deceit. I have found that one and so I know who to vote for.
seek green party and independents who have not been bought by the system...we know they won't win, but that is where change begins, and your own consciousness will be more at peace,knowing you personally chose based on the good for all, as our country was meant to be
