Light as a feather
Dancing on air
Nothing to hinder me
wisdom keeps me aware
The wind is my passion
With it I soar
Like Eagles on thermals
Flightless no more

From many encumbrances
I've been freed
Of the many things
Which I didn't need
Enlightenment teaches
Less truly is best
I'll continue my journey
with much more zest

I fly over rainbows
With dauntless wings
Happy as a Lark
With new songs to sing
The sky ever beckons
With new joys to share
I'm light as a feather
Dancing on air

It is the "less" of us which you have captured in this exciting piece poetical stunner . . . You have actually made me open my eyes and my inner self at the same time and THAT is no mean feat . . . The ""less" of us is a new concept, Eileen and I know you are not speaking of material things, which would be fine if you were, but ya ain't . . . I'm trying to digest this "less" as I type this, I find it close at hand, but shyiong away . . . I love, LOVE, the concept and it will bother me until I come to fully understand it . . . I think I already do, actually . . . I'm just not able to put it into words . . . Thank you . . .

You chucked something real heavy, one can feel it in the poem, you freed your soul to fly again, I hope you catch lots of updrafts as you are soaring. Bless You! Jasmin Horst

Good on you, Eileen; fantastic write! Very well penned! BRAVA!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :)

Keep us in your prayers; daddy too; daddy was in hospital again (pneumonia); home now, but weak, on the mend. We're also struggling (no money for Christmas presents); not much left after bills.
