As I lie here awake unable to sleep
that time just as the  morning creeps

To overtake the dark of night
replacing it with suns sweet light

When our thoughts so easily scatter
I'm pondering the grey matter

And all those places in-between
the hidden ones that are unseen

Times when things are in transition
they don't have easy recognition

As when the sun is gone from our eyes
before stars  light up the skies

Like in the lull before the storm
all is still unlike the norm

Those moments before life meets death
before the anatomy  takes its  last breath

That micro space twixt reality and dreams
when illusion is exactly what it seems

I'm  longing to crawl into that interspace
to unfold the mystery of the human race

This invites introspection. I love it! I am heading west at dawn each morning thru mountains and forests watching the earth come awake. What flow, what vision! Beautiful, simply beautiful.

Funny how the mind works. Sometimes I think there are more places 'in-between' than actual places.
Now you got me thibnking, Eileen. LOL
I love this poem and I love the flow!

The mystery is as it should be, a mystery. When we really solve this, does that mean it's the end of the world?
Peace, love, and light,

Namaste. May you have a safe trip, trust no one and make them prove it. Let me know when you re-enter. God blesses you for your temerity. Liz

And let the answers ring out to the many! What some call the vaccuum or the void, a transitional place to reflect, so very beautiful...

Be safe,
Karen

Absolutely gorgeous image.

"before the anatomy takes its last breath
That micro space twixt reality and dreams"

These lines cling to the senses like a wet mist. I think the greatest mystery about the human race is that they have a Savior that loves them infinitely. Blessings to you Sugar Chum!
