It is winter cold and drear there's no way I will appear you'll have to wait for me when my heart is fancy free in the spring when the crocus blooms, when the robin sings when the river runs over from the rains, and the feverish change fills our brain, when the animals rut is beginning, and we feel our own juices flowing, while new shoots are growing, and all of nature is straining to give birth on this incredible planet called earth, that is when I will come to you, to do what we were meant to do, then my love is when, we shall consumate our fate, please wait!
Yearning and time are two facts that make love a treasure in the long run and very much worth the wait. The heart beats so much fuller when the wait is over.
love,Susan
I can feel your juices flowing already in this beautiful poem, and the picture is just the best, You are looking for an early spring are you? Jasmin Horst
New seasons come faster than sometime we wish. But no one can stop the procession. enjoyed the springy write.

Many colors and images tint your words and give the reader a true sense of "being there," and being there would be a magical place . . . Especially as we read the poem aloud amid such beauty . . .

Your poem expresses the deep longing for spring that all Creation has. Still, I love sitting by the fireplace in the winter.
