Poem Artwork

I want to say to the moment
don't go away stay, stay
but like a butterfly it flutters
by,and leaves me like a stray

Each moment different than
the next, and never more to be
yet, wondering if they
go elsewhere poses a mystery

Could a momentary idea I share
reappear in the next moment
for another someone somewhere

How many of my moments are
out circulating  somewhere in
the stratosphere,and can deeds
done be seen by others in
another sphere

Living from moment to moment,
that become weeks,months,and years
I'll do my best to help them become
the reason for smiles not tears

etw-2008

Imagination spawns many philosophical queries. I prefer to romanticize the subject and believe that there is no thought, that that has not been thought before. Another thinking poem E T. The kind I love. Jon Michael Willey

science will tell you each brain is unique from the next in one breath and in another will explain the holographic concept that we all share everything simulateneously, but filter seperately. I know we've experienced amazing syncronnicities in moments and you can see that here in AD, as words, phrases, concepts, or just what is on ones mind, seems to duplicate and multiply at times...like everyone had the same inspiration or muse in that moment...maybe, i've gone off here a bit, but i've been thinking lately along these lines myself :) it really is an amazing world and I too hope to always live for smiles rather than tears!

I do believe there are other speres out there in the universe and your poem states what you think very well. I agree wholeheartedly with the poem and what it states. Smile at all you meet throughout the day and be amazing who smiles back. Love is universal.

Lovely musings. I especially like:

reappear in the next moment
for another someone somewher"

Our perception of time is fascinating, Eileen. Especially for those who believe in it's eternal continuity in some shape or form. One of my favourite thoughts is that it's not the position of the moment that counts, but its composition! Whatever... you've captured and bottled it nicely here! Bless you... hope your eyes are rested and recovered. Kate xx

Oh, I really enjoyed this, Eileen! It is a sharing from you that fluttered to my mind, circulated thru my blood, and into my heart...and brought smiles!

I really enjoyed the philosophical questions in this one - the idea of dimensions and the eternal inquiry of time have always intrigued me! Really well done!

This is great, Eileen. I do believe we live moment to moment. It is always a surprise in what the next moment might bring to us. I just hope it will all be joyous moments.
