Poem Artwork

 

When I bought this house
I had a weird dream
As I was working out the
color scheme

In one bedroom, dark and drear
I felt like Poe's ghost was near

So I made the decor beige and
brown adding some poems of Poe's 
and a few paintings of Crows

Being pleased with the results,I used
similar themes in all the rooms

I searched and found some
poet's  homes and furnishings

Each poet was represented to the best
of my ability to adopt their preferrences

Elizabeth Barret Browning's poems along
with her husbands are featured in my
sitting  room

It was  fashioned after the Brownings
home in Italy, where they preferred to live

Come see what other poets I have chosen
to fashion rooms after,you will be surprised
and may acquire poetic eyes

If you are a dreamer,a romantic,and have
a passion for life, you will love living in
this home I made into a poetic paradise

And what a wonderful poetic paradise your home would be, Eileen. I love the references to the great poets and poetesses. Browning and Poe are favorites of mine, as well. I'd love to see the other poets housed in your home.
