Through days so dark and murky
succumbing to inactivity, getting lost
under a cloud of indifference
unable to see any signs of meaning,
tired of wasting time gleaning for it

One takes stock of the insignifigance of
themselves, and apathy sets in, disquieting
the psyche, making it easy to demean and
fade out of the day-to day life cycle

Heavenly shadows of things to come
are stowed away unable to requite the
longing for what seems right,to have
the happiness one feels entitled to

Where is the reason and why should one
care, it doesn't seem to be happening here
No cause to care about the alternative
for what one has, doesn't  do it for them

There is a time when the cloud lifts, when
the chance for choice is made available,
and hopefully the mind isn't too far into itself
to come out and take a look...

For now, the twilight of hope reaches out
like a climbers rope offering help to the
daunted mind that was lost and couldn't find
it's way home

In shades of golden light the deep black night
has fallen, to open a new day. The fingers of
cloying,clasping, spectres have been slain, and
freedom to seek ones goals is now returning, while
the mind remembers the way of right thinking.
