Poem Artwork

Caressed by a cascade of cavorting

waters I played among the pleasant

parameters of the falls like a nymph

dancing at a barefoot ball, so excited

to be, part of such forceful energy

what a splendid condition to have no

restriction, to follow a flow to wherever

it goes, to unravel the mystery as to

where  waters  empty into the sea

to follow a river, to follow a stream, to

follow whatever may be your dream, to

go where you please free of supervision

what joy it can be, with no inhibition

the potency of water always fascinates me

it's an overpowering element when it is free

Beautiful photograph, so serene! And so it is just as your words flow so fluidly as dreams go on forever....

Be always safe,

Great work! This one flows just like the water fall itself. One of my favorite spots I visited so far is a fall deep in the forests of eastern Oregon. It's a very spiritual place where mind and spirit come toether.
Loved it!

I understand your love of water, it is the basis of all life. We are all made up of water and we are cleansed and revived by this amazing element. I have a babbling brook in my back yard that leads to the Connecticut River and seven waterfalls feeds off of this amazing waterway. It is simply awe inspiring to watch the water flow.
Your poem hits me right in my soul, ET I loved reading it!

Please ET give the address of that water fall to Ed below, so he can take that shower he promised in the mud that day, so long ago, in Woodstock. Can't believe Rufuz didn't ran away.
Water, name that to a thirsty man in the middle of the Sahara desert and he will go woodpecker on you.
Nice, no, extraordinary nice poem which an old man like me should have treated with the respect it deserves, but this morning I want the world to smile! ! !

Water is very liberating, and i could almost follow your journey here. I like the idea of a shower underneath that oooh yeah...Love the freedom this generates.

Stunning write of the beautiful, gentle side to the water: it's when it rises up in a roar, like in hurricane or flood, when it is bad. I'd much prefer this side. :) Beautiful capture in image and verse; well done!

Ah, "it's an overpowering element when it is free" . . . the very same thing could be said about humans, Eillen . . . I got into this, mainly because I conjured up all sorts of places that water would have traveled until it reinvented itself somewhere down the stream or brook, or lake . . . Beautifully written . . .
