Poem Artwork

In a cabin in the woods for six days no computer, both wondrous and awful;-)We purposely banned them to see if we could,no blackberry's etc either. The Elk coast in Mendocino is worth it! I went to town one day only to check email about Ed.Before I left I phoned him, told him to get to the hospital,I also told him 2 weeks  ago in an email, he's so stubborn! Thank brothrs Pee wee and Edvard and all the den for prayers etc. I put him on  the prayer boards too, before I left! Thank God He is hanging in there, but there's a long road ahead,so let's keep the prayers going! Missed you all!;-)

~*~

day broke  morning spoke  I awoke

Sun permeated my skin quickening
my impulse,sparking the rhythm of
the rays to guide me through the day

day ended evening descended,I amended
moon imbued my essence infiltrating
me with its beams directing my dreams

throughout the night,I experienced a
rainbow colored scenario that became
multi-faceted mysterious vignettes

intriguing clips of unknown faces that
had various backgrounds of unknown
places,with mystic connotations

the dreams were accompanied by music
with  sacred sounds of intermitten chants
and euphoric indwelling of friendly spirits

this became a daily occurance in which
the seduction of unraveling the mysteries
of enlightenment is now my top priorty

what a perfectly ingenious idea, to make, " unraveling the mysteries of enlightenment your top priority" -- and why should it not be a top priority for us all, Eileen ? -- peace and love my friend -- Jon Michael

Eileen,
Apart from the beauty of the setting, the way you phrase and your language choices make this a fine poem.

Wow! The staccato rhymes and flowing verses make this one of the best "jazz" poems I've seen in awhile. Great work.

You are becoming unglued my dear Eileen, and that is a good thing, spend another week at least, to taste the freedom you have experienced in the mystical realm, a great insight and write to flower in the future. Hugs! Jasmin Horst

Those privileged to wander in California are the ones that have seen the reflection of Eden on earth, God should have a Golden Gate up there, just to make the walk over there more pleasant that climbing with our old legs those blasted stairs to heavens! LOL

Absolutely stunning photograph!!! We do hope and pray Ed will get stronger with each day. We will continue to keep him in our thoughts and prayers until God sees him through and brings him back to health. Godspeed to him and all in his family. We do not have a prayer board, but we can light candles at church and we will keep one lit until he is well and back home with his family. Godspeed...

Be always safe,
Karen

You commune with the forces of nature every where you travel to. So happy that our prayers were answered for Ed but we will continue to pray for his full recovery.
