Poem Artwork

Shadows creepmg over the terrain in
stony silence as the graying of the day
progresses

The horse stood still as death ,like a
black and white photo.taken by an
award winning photographer

I ponder the strange effects that
the scene has on me,I sum it
 up in one word ,granite

That gives me pause to wonder
at how we perceive ourselves
within our environment

Noting that the scenario I have depicted
has a strongly woven synergism that fits
perfectly together

Such as, silence, stillness,graying,granite
black and white, all a harmonious amalgam
that pleases the senses

I consider if it is  only through poetry
do we find words of such symmetry, and
if so,it makes me happy to be a poet

silence, a state of mind for certain -- for we may experience it at any time in any place -- a multitude of scenarios may elicite our personal sense of, silence -- our cushion of space, peace and serenity in the world around us -- unique and interesting work Eileen -- I enjoyed it immensely -- peace and love my friend -- Jon Michael

a BINGO moment, Eileen... Poetry is unique in that way, I think... that you suddenly get JUST the right word that pulls so many different threads of meaning and understanding together in one concept and expression. I love it when this happens! Mind you, the Bible is like that anyway, isn't it? Each verse a multi-layered treasure, like your writing. Yes, that synergy lifts off the page when all comes together for certain sure. You write solid as a rock here! :)) Thank you, Kate xx

You know synergism is also the theological doctrine that salvation results from the interaction of human will and divine grace. And if that is the hidden metaphor in this ... you rock the Casbah.

symmetricalness - goodness, I would imagine that the inside of an atom in many ways resembles the universe. And the inter-actions may give us insight into the creative processes that we've been blessed with by the Creator; passive and non-passive extrapolations of, either HIS spirit, ot the other one.

Yupperbud ... keep those wings spread chum, i think that you are approaching the Aether.
Blessings ...

Synergism of black and white, of light and darkness, of faith and disbelief, all of it inside the amalgam of a poem's words.

Eileen,
Your words paint as sharply as the picture...pictorial excellence, "a harmonious amalgam". This is very fine writing.

I think you picked a fantastic photo to weave your magic words about, Eileen. It has such character within the grays and somberness and the projection of horse broken by something, I can't tell seems to be a cast sculpture. Whatever! I loved the picture and your description of what it meant to you.
