Poem Artwork

The shadowy fingers of dawn
crept across the fading Moon
tugging at the hidden Sun to
come out and begin a new day

The sun ,however, was lazy
stayed behind the clouds of
gray making it a hazy lavender day

Still the hands of
natures clock, never stop
and time goes by whatever
the color of the sky

on these days sort of like twilight
because the libido feels just right
feelings that arouse mostly at night
for lovers that instinctively unite
the passions that explode,this way
are like the fingers of dawns new day

your poetic painting captures the natural essence of passion and its wonderful mood of coming into being ...

Taking nature as you have over the years to your heart and transferring what nature gives us with what we humans give one another and the love which transpires between them is like the melding of the sun into the sunset, the moon into dawn, and everything, for the most part in your poems reflect that in a majestic and wonderful way. This one is no exception.
