left eye surgery tomorrow,
see you when I can;-)

What mind is this that magic touched
for which my heart  thrills oh so much
it speaks in words that reach the sky
bringing tears of joy to mist my eyes
such brilliance do his thoughts convey
they fill my heart both night and day

Can a bard move one to blissful heights
to fill their lives with sensory delights
I would say yes a thousand times
if he has a heart and soul that rhymes
for it takes more than just the mind
it takes mystical madness to spellbind

Oh what a joy to know such a versifier
who is  always  sure to set hearts afire
His  words grow like wildflowers astray
until his expertise puts them in play
like the brush strokes of a Michelangelo
knowing exactly where they should go

His is the mind  that magic touched
For which my heart thrills oh so much~

Nicely written, Eileen. The rhythm in this piece adds to its charm. Feels classical. Good luck with your surgery! Hugs,

Beautiful poetry that is lubricated by the wine of fine lines, Eileen. Both root and your own lush branches of poetry compliment each other perfectly and of the net result we all benefit - Vintage, thank you! :)) Have been thinking of and praying for your surgery today. I hope it will be successful and will contribute to the sense of a return to well-being that we once again, thankfully, witness in the upbeat exuberance of your work. Be well and greatly inspired! :)) xx

Indeed it does. It takes one to be able to express the inside about the outside world.

Warmest wishes for tomorrow. Have no fear eye know you'll soon be back on ear.
