When it pours rain I get urge
to make temperatures surge

the lightning~ to me is never
frightening,~but always most
enlightening~

I get a charge
from the voltaic~ that's not at
all  prosaic~it lifts me so high
I spread my wings to fly~

til
I catch hold of the star where
I know you are~your thunder
meets me with a roar~ just the
way that I adore~

from thermal
winds we get a lift~ on cumulus
clouds we are adrift~we unite
in stormy passion~spawning
tornadoes as is our fashion

caught in a vortex of hot desire
we set the northern lights afire~

etw~

I love the voltaic shift in this at just the right spot, Eileen - taking us from the observational into the highly-charged dynamic of atomic interaction that takes us into all sorts of other levels, including the surreal. Seamless energies unite to merge passions physical and metaphysical; fantastical and for real. Very visceral and fizz-ical: I'm sure Olivia Newtron Bomb would approve! :)) xx

I love a good storm. You have written one into existence Eileen. Wonderful metaphor at the end!

LOVE this. Great vibes (sixties flashback) and no nonsense reality. Make everything WORK for you. I don't understand why I am back, Eileen, I thought I was just a reader.

Eileen, you have charged the atmosphere with passion and romance. Yours are the words that make the old ticker go rumpity-rump. You've captured my imagination in a vortex of beautiful words my dear friend. So turn on the old switch to the lightning and northern lights and we'll go romancing and dancing. May love, joy and peace be with you. Jon Michael
