I was only there in fall and winter, but found Lake Tahoe captivating enough to write about it in one of my books. Thanks for the vignette of summer there.

You've captured the soul of it well super chum. Michele and I have just returned from 3 week holiday in the majestic Eastern Sierras, June Lake, Shaver Lake, Convict lake, Silver Lake, Gull lake, Twin lakes, Mammoth lakes, etc. trout fishing and hiking in the most gloriously enchanting topography we've been in in a long while. Sounds marvelous, Sis. One of my favorite places out west, even got hitched to Mean Tall Woman there. I like Tahoe in the winter, too!

As a kid, our family spent a lot of time between Tahoe and Donner Lake...thanks for the reminder.
