The day of woe is done
I'm basking in the sun
I'm looking to the sky
my best friends up high
stars are always there
let you know they care
planets offer refuge
from miseries deluge
moon offers lovers
gold glowing covers
clouds give soft glides
to cosmic joy rides
no one will deceive
in the realms of believe
the land of lucid light
assures only delight
even in indigo night
the way is made bright
so all may share
none will despair
from lack of an ear
that's willing to hear
the celestial community
knows only unity
So here I shall stay
out of the cold worlds way!
You always write of such serenity and cosmic delight. Unfortunately, there are great dangers out there that makes it difficult for us to become true space citizens. I am writing such a story right now.
Superb, Eileen. You are such a star-trooper and I really do believe you are more "at home" in the further reaches of the cosmos as you have such an evident affinity with it. Yes, we could indeed learn a few lessons from the unity of the celestial community - especially in the "live and let live" departments and the "just being" as opposed to our human proneness to "doing". As always, you are in your natural element when you write of such things. Hope you're in the pink! :)) xx

I'm with you on this beautiful poem, Eileen ... Loved it!
