Inside every person on earth hides a hero
Like a caring mother and her loyal fellow
They are everywhere these wonderful souls
The one with no name handing out bedrolls

Hero dads putting plasters on scrapped knees
Boys and Girls who always say please
Friendly stranger who pays a pensioners heating bill
A university professor explaining about mans freewill

All the neighbors coming together to assist
People who fight for a good cause and persist
Someone who can cheer a sad person up
Special souls that save a cat or rescue a pup

Firefighters who risk their own lives to save another
Good guys that give their time to be a lonely boys brother
Volunteers gladly jeopardize everything to save a whale
People working together for hours passing a water pail

Humans that take awake turn around and decide to give it back
All the disabled souls from a one legged man to a hunchback
There is a hero hiding inside every one of us
Just open your eyes and conquer the blindness
