As the dance began …
We moved to the rhythm of the saxophone
I could feel it coming …
The moment came closer
I knew you didn’t want to feel for me …
You had promised yourself you wouldn’t
But the music was so warm …
And I was persistent
I stared deep into your soul …
You began to quiver
My hand gently moved the hair that cascaded your face
My fingers touching skin so soft …
As they moved to the back of your neck
Your full lips attempted to say no …
But instead they only trembled
Awareness of the inevitable … became visible
Your beautiful green eyes finding mine …
The reflection of the candles shining through
I moved closer …
Waiting for resistance to be discarded for desire
Your warm breathe so close …
It moistened my lips
Finally a touch …
Soft and firm …
Tender and rough
As contact was made …
Then released …
Then made again
Lips parting slightly …
As our tongues brushed ever so lightly
The wetness of your mouth bathed me …
As I became lost
For in my consciousness
There was only the kiss …
