Seeing is believing..

Mom had a vision not long after Dad passed away,
A vision of Christ at the foot of her bed.
She knew in an instant that there was nothing to say
Except to thank the Lord for giving Dad his final resting place.
This image she saw came late in the night while fast asleep
And at first disturbed her until she was granted the peace
Of understanding from where it came and her promise to keep
Our Lord & Savior foremost in her thoughts through each day.
The appearance became a mission for her to pursue
For the rest of her life while she battled cancer
And knew the end would come too soon and ensue
A peaceful end to her life to let go and give God her hand.
She moves about now on the lower level of Heaven
Making her rounds talking with souls that have not yet found
The true meaning of their passing; she says Amen
To them and then moves on to the next soul,
And continues to complete her mission before she takes
Her final place by the throne of God with a crown of gold.

Oh George, what wonderful images your words conjure up in my mind. This is very special. One can almost see your mother making her rounds, talking with souls in heaven. Truly inspirational and well-written.
Love,
CJ

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
