I’m tired, just plain tired.
I don’t have a job anymore,
So there’s no bother of being fired.
I hurt so inside like never before.
I’m like a lonely robin in the snow
Full of sorrow and looking for a friend.
Mainly I’m tired of being on the go
And not knowin’ whether or how to send
Up a prayer to the Good Man above.
I’m tired of all the pain I see on faces
Because people no longer know how to love.
All they do is try to find a space
So they can be left alone.
I’m just plain tired and want to go Home.
