Wishful thinking in the back yard...
Total silence Serene Hear the grass grow ccasional twirp Flopping wings and cackling starts slow and builds. My thoughts interrupted The blue jay above me Looks at me saying Get away Out of my space Ignore Stop It does Return to my thoughts Unbroken Welcome rest Closing my eyes once again � 2007 George E Thompson

This is superb imagery, George! I too feed birds etc outside and they talk to me all the time;-) Someday I'll understand them...lol
