Lust buried Her Seed
inside Me,
the Day that You
and I would meet
and laugh, She did
so heartily,
thinking,
"This is just too easy"
the flame would burn beside
the beak-
the Crow who's making-fun-of-need
lessoned, guess We
fulfilled his need,
his boredom shown
a rusty creed....
your Fear would fold-somewhat
but stay,
career, position there,
you'd blame
or this, or that,
whatever could
be there to free you,
use, you would........
Meanwhile,
I looked up "lust"
in a black book-
a stronger crust
it had up-took
than what it
could explain..
confused I wondered
what to blame......
then while dreaming
Lust said to me
"You see, I turned
into a need,
but didn't mean to,
really, I promise.
The bell
you leaned to,
your Heart's Crevise
was there all along
with 'such' Love-
I'm sorry," she said,
flying
with dove's
flair, though not
with same beauty,
I thought,
as I followed her
wings,
my cup, it felt all
too empty
I wished my heart's
love would copy,
but it would not
and nor would I
give back what
Lust's cruel game did buy,
'cause even with
the gaping hole
inside my chest,
I loved you so,
and looking back,
I do believe
my soul
grew strong, though painfully....
Lust carries Her
seed-
some might not see,
the day could come
when you would meet
a laughing bird,
peripherally,
while Lust
turns into
what you need.....
