I've written away the night,
the poem-bug bit me tightly
on the bottom,
or someplace else.
Don't know, but it bit me alright,
I've typed away many hours,
the prose-button hit new powers,
or so I think,
I'm starting to blink,
should I sleep, or take a shower?
I've created four total
rhymes based on
anecdotal
explanations of
my relations
to all in my
wee-life's portal.
Four, is it really just four? Shit.
Damn, thought I had way more
than that,
what the hell.
I'm tired, the bell's
alarm,
I'll have to ignore......damn it.
am getting caught up on my reading this evening and am very glad I decided to drop by...this is excellent. Methinks all writers at one time or another have been faced with this. Well done!

Boy can I relate to this one! Sometimes something grabs you and won't let you go until you see it to the end. It's such a drag to realize you have spent the entire night trying to put it all together...then the alarm rings -an unwelcomed sound...time to get ready for work! Nicely penned!
