(super-heroine named Learning Curve...............)

I am the Learning Curve
I steal up for the swerve
of what the dumb deserve
with their unknowing nerve

and when my lesson's up
so too is our love
but I keep it inside,
Token made of pride

I am the Learning Curve
are you up for the serve?
or are your lessons learned
with scars that still can burn?

why God gave this role?
I've wearied trying to scroll
up and down for reasons
don't bother, it's the season

for loving, anyway,
and fools must have their day!
and I must heed the calling
'til fools can stop their falling

and fumbling and stumbling
on unsuspecting hearts,
maybe the day will soon come
when from this I part

but until that day
(no doubt, have you been out there?)
I'm afraid I'll be wearing the shades
to block the fool's glare.....
