My head feels numb,
my fingers too,
I think too much,
my nerves are blue,

they must be, right?
with all my worrying,
I'm trying to fight
bad thoughts with pearly ones.

My feet feel tired,
my morale too,
I feel too much
my heart does too

it must, 'cause I,
with all my scurrying
of words and lights
can't stop my worrying.

The fungus keeps growing on the tree
outside.
Reminds me of negativity I fight.

One day, I'll beat it down, for now
I'll try
and do my best to keep those
dreams of mine.....

When I feel numb,
or feel real blue,
or think too much
'bout what to do

I'll keep in mind
to stop this worrying
and replace fear
with hope
and pearls

and sun...
