closed the door
on his last way in

when he left
the door stayed closed
as he slid under it,

to sneak out to a fine party
all decked out in
a tux

that he borrowed from
a queen who also
lent him bucks,

about 20, or so, I think
but maybe I lost count

it doesn't matter
oops! I think I
forgot to point out

Marty's wifey
see, she got stoned
with the local priest

then Marty caught them
in the act,
he said it smelled like yeast!

Anyway, poor guy Marty,
he comes in to my bar

every evening, drinks his whiskey
'til he can't go far

in his car, or anything
not even on his bike

which explains his sliding
mechanism home
each night........

each night that he drinks, anyway........
