The forest's too loud,
or I'm too proud
to let my ears hear
what is really, really
too near
for them to miss,
why do I do this?
The sky is too blue
or maybe it's you
who colors my hue
much too dark,
no it's really, really
my fears
that come to diss
me,
why do I do this?
See?
look up into
the old peach tree,
Mama said fruit would not
come back,
but see,
it is there, right up there,
at the top,
let's climb right up,
and let's never, ever,
ever stop.....
The TV's too loud,
maybe if I shout,
I'll drown out the tears
that stop at the spout,
don't matter anymore,
what the hell,
the peach in the forest
is blue like the shell
I pick up in my dreams,
the beach is of cream,
and somehow I think
right then that I see
what I so need to see
without blame as a need...
I wake up and how
I feel is good now,
though I'm not sure why,
the effort is prideful,
steady, inside my heart
it glows,
It takes a lot of diligent perseverance to fine-tune ones ability to see and hear farther than the surface. Goodness certainly does grow when it is nurtured and shared. Your mind and heart joined together seamlessly on this one Rose. Well done!
