My wife Terry and I have always accepted that Jesus is in our lives and is there for us everyday. This poem is about that belief and trust.

Every single day when I wake up, You light up my life.
You light up my day, and make it better with less strife.

When I go to sleep and it is so very dark at nignt,
I look around trying to see and there you are, my guiding light.

Whenever I'm down and out in my life throughout the years,
suddenly, there you are with your light to dry my tears.

I don't know what I'd do if all at once you're not there at all.
I would stumble and trip and surely, no doubt I'd fall.

But, you've promised to always be there forever for me.
So I don't have to worry, for with your light I will always see.
