I Knew You Well
By La Belle Rouge

I search within for answers
to timeless questions and
rest from ceaseless questioning.
Moving ever closer
to the core of my existence.
The light that burns within
and illuminates my darkness,
the prismatic beacon that floods
murky waves of indecision.
and winding, shadowed paths
in thick forests of doubt.

My spirit, my actual self
the sacred flame of love
the torch passed by deity
burns brightly, eternally
beyond the tangible.
At the sound of an unfamiliar voice
I turn around and find....myself
and memories of antiquity.
A love more ancient than mountains,
a connection beyond knowledge.

I observe you in the flame
your voice calls to me
and your fingers unlock
bolted entrances with keys
fashioned by the hands of divinity.
You speak to me in a language
long extinct, yet never forgotten.
I knew you well, I know you still,
though the memory of when,
the knowledge of where,
lives only in recurring, lucid dreams.
Your face inviting, words absorbed
Your aura embraces mine
tenderly, seamlessly as though
there had never been a separation.

Flame to flame, heart to heart
without overabundance of words,
without frivolous communication
we dissolve, absolve all negatives
and re-enter the primordial
knowledge of who we are,
the juxtaposition of our origin
and to what destination we travel.
Living to create, creating to live
beyond this place....this time.
Dancing soul to soul
in the overflow of light.

I knew you well, I know you still,

...and THAT knowing is the reconnection..it begins in spirit first then flows through many layers of Self to finally rest in your heart..he is ever present within you..expect him to manifest in the physical..and so it is!

Glorious ode to the Twin Flame..

Beautiful poetry displays itself on this page...the music is a good choice...La Belle Rouge motivates a timeless quill...ancient language embedded in petroglyph...

A lost love, an ancient love, sounds like soul mates meeting at long last. Enjoyed this!

I love the depth you create Belle...that concept of knowing a lover repeatedly through the centuries, that "illumination" in the shadow of doubt, that never ending tangibility. Love like a never disappearing beacon that rises above the divisions and roadblocks...burns even in the distance.
"Your aura embraces mine
tenderly, seamlessly as though
there had never been a separation."
I am totally absorbed in this write.
Love,
Taylor
