how do we know what is real
or what is only a dream?
all we know is what we feel
and how our memories seem

there is a time of war
a time of peace
a time for wandering to cease

a time to rest your heart in mine
in ancient places
that transcend time

a time for brave warriors
to lay down the bow
and gentleness of touch to know

the faces of mountains
course of rivers may change
a bond of souls remains the same

and who is to say
if we are only an eternal dream
of one all powerful unseen?
