Beautiful and reasonable sentiment here. I was just thinking today how much modern poetry critics seem annoyed by even the mention of the word "love" in a poem.
... Jerry's comment should be framed - it's up there with the Dorothy Parker's and Mae West's of this world! But my goodness, he's right... And you, my Darling, are that rare and precious songbird of love that sings all it's tones and moods in perfect pitch and in heartmelting melodies and tender lines. At times we feel you caged, but even in this moment of piquancy, you fly free. Just beautiful, Belle. xx
