Maya Angelou… Why the Caged Bird Sings.

It's always good to see you dropping in and posting. There are many things that keep us imprisoned. Sometimes without a cage. I think that it is cruel to keep a flying creature in a cage where cannot fly; its wing muscles atrophying until it can no longer fly and becomes totally dependent upon its master's whims. Sad. All flying creatures need to fly. Half the people in jail should be there. When will we learn that holding people down does not make them better.

To me the cage, metaphorically, is a nursing home where I would have to follow "their" rules and not be free to make my own decisions.
