is like a painting

life

is like a painting

swept up on a canvas

of dreams

each stroke with a brush

colored up with laughter and tears

touched up with forgiveness and kisses

sealed with tears of happiness

and hung up for the world to see

each day a remembrance

of all we are and that each

day of life is a present

to be cherished

and enjoyed...

take a minute

out of each day

to say

thank you

for today

I was not too thanksful for today. Upon awakening this morning and realizing I was alive was not a fun thing for me. But I guess I do have lots to be thankful for. As you write so naturally about things, I pine over them and take them too much to hear. Better days are ahead for me, I just feel it. Just not appreciating what I do have now at this day and moment.
