Poetry is more than rhymes...
Poetry is more than rhymes Its words worked through the sweat of the labor of love Sacrifice the rhyme for the meaning Fill the room with crumpled papers Trying to pen the heart of you Into a page of descriptive beats The path to poetry Follows a narrow path Of righteous rules and pentameters To stand the test of time Compromise Sacrifice the rhyme and free The verse Edit, Pen, Scream Rehearse Write a poem Open a vein let the love Flow Go Insane
