As I began coping and managing my mental illness, it was challenging to write. I had to build up the energy. Poems became my main source of communicating with God. This is because they were short. As my strength improved, I returned to prose.

Your well quenched my thirst,
I’m drenched victoriously,
Surviving with Thee.
Haikus have to be one of the most powerful forms of appreciating the world and people around us. To the point, nothing misinterpreted, and just plain simply beautiful.
