Over the hill to harvest a Christmas tree;
The mountains were alive and beautiful to see.
A hint of snow glistened all around;
As the evergreens stood their mighty ground.
Just a simple pine I thought would do;
No Spruce, Norwegian or tree of blue.
To choose a tree and be it the right kind;
Would take for certain such a long time.
But there it stood, on the tenth row;
So majestic and proud…my heart beat so.
I gazed upon its little shape and size;
Suddenly, a miracle appeared before my eyes.
A light as brilliant as all the stars above;
Illuminated the tree and surrounded it with love.
God’s light: a heavenly glow reached within every part;
The Spirit of Christmas, God chose this humble heart.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
