Black Boy pulled up at 7:00 pm sharp…
Blew the horn as a signal…
Then got out of his car…
Met Black Girl’s mama at the door…
WITH the remote control in her hand…
She stated.
“You know Black Girl ain’t ready…”
And pointed to the recliner…
Told him to sit and make himself comfortable…
Asked him did he want something to eat or drink…
Handed him the remote…
And swung around giving him a LOOK.
Paused and stated….
"She ain’t learned that from me…
Got it from her Daddy’s side."
And left the room with Black Boy Just-A-Waiting.
:)~!! To spell it out, clever, funny, and to the point. Best of all, wrapped in a short spangly shawl only Mama can get away with.
