While entities inside of her...Devour her soul...Scream and laugh...The Devils Disciples

She stood in darkness

Half naked

While entities inside of her

Devour her soul

A heart that once

So believed in God

Now too weak to fight any longer

Scream and laugh

The souls of the Devils Disciples

Which plague her insanity

Feeding on her existence

Her frail body

Have only enough strength

To lift her head

Her last sight of the Heavens

The Devils Disciples

Rage in anger

Speaking in tongues

Only God could understand

Cometh God himself

Casting light upon her darkness

He places his hand upon her head

The Disciples of the Devil

One by one flees

In a foul odor

God

Casting each of them from her soul

Back into the pits of Hell

"O LORD, so many are against me. So many seek to harm me. I have so many enemies. So many say that God will never help me. But Lord, You are my shield, my glory, and my only hope. You alone can lift my head, now bowed in shame."

Psalm 3:3, The Living Bible

The enemy is powerful, but our God is King of kings, Lord of lords,

the all-powerful ONE.

Thank you for sharing such a vivid picture of the power-struggle that threatens the Believer, and at times seems able to consume him or her. "Deliverance belongs to the LORD..."

Debra, this is a great example how the devil's web of evil taunts us and tries to lead us astray. This is a compelling write my friend and it blessed me.

Such a powerful write my friend! You've given the reader a glimpse of the spiritual battle that is often fought within the heart and the mind of Christians...just because one is saved by grace doesn't mean that the enemy stops fighting as so many think, you've penned reality as those are the ones that the devil fights so hard to regain, for a sinner doesn't intimidate the enemy as he already has them where he wants them, but those who are working for the Lord and helping to gain more souls, doing good deeds, and showing christianly love are the ones that the enemy seeks to devour or sift as wheat! We've got to have enough faith and strength to fight the evil away from our mind and say no to the temptations that he presents us with in order to overcome! A very powerful write my friend! Wise and with a message that all such heed!
Blessings,
Joyce B.

This poem I could taste the evil, smell their stench, watch helplessly as bound with chains she lays, and with hope I see how you penned the light that came and set her free. Beautifully done. God -- Our one and only true knight in shining armour! Well Done! Deborah
