Next time, so I am warned, could be the last time, on that I am clear….
Next time I tell you that I love you…will you let me have one more next time after that?
Next time I hurt you will you forgive me one more time?
Next time we argue, can we make up like we’ve done before?
Next time the moon shines so bright…will you lay close, beside me, throughout the night?
Next time the sun burst brightly in the sky will you whisper lovely thoughts by and by?
Next time, could be the last, but for me, the most important thing is this time.
So vitally important is that distinction Dan. For all we have, is now. The yesterdays irretrievably lost in the maze and wash of time and space. Tomorrows, guaranteed to none. Fine writing my friend. Very lovely, I hope your beloved feels the same...treats you will all the respect that you need and deserve. Spats happen in love, especially with brats, we can't always be childless.
