Sweet One

Poem Artwork

With beauty so rare
her wondrous fragrance fills the air
in tender hands she holds
the very essence of springtime
renewal coming from above
a time of joy a time for love
the rain of petals has come and past
but in my heart the blossoms last

Walt

This is a lovely ode to the cherry blossons Walt!I used to live near Branch Brook Park (New Jersey) where they had a huge display of trees it was noted for them. I loved to walk among them when their blossoms covered the ground, although I hated to see them lose their blooms.
