For my wife Lisa on her graduation
I’m so proud That you are a phoenix rising Eyes always turned towards heaven Despite all earthly obstacles set in your way. I’m so proud Of the strength within you Of the constant fire of achievement That burns in your soul I’m so proud That you did it When some said you couldn’t You never stopped believing in your goals… And I never stopped believing in you. Now that you’ve accomplished it all I’m so proud you’re not resting But like the true -hearted phoenix Continue to soar.
