The arrow's strong flight,
driven by blood-lust and sweat,
is also an insight into that which
spills the tides, that which strikes,
stings, delights, or scars,
that which swims, or flies, or crawls,
that which falls to ruin
and that which rises to triumph.
If only it could fly full circle!
We would know, we would see,
we would shake and tremble
beneath its woody vibrations
as we do before truth.
