I feel like the chair that sits in the corner, that everyone sees but never sits in.
The pen that sits on the shelf but never used, or the empty picture frame that holds nobody.
Imagine how the rain would feel without the wind to carry it on its way, or the snow without children to play in it, or a tree without its leaves.
I feel like a cascading waterfall, without anyone to appreciate its beauty, or the sand on the beach untouched by feet.
People see me as a rock, a part of a island, i am that rock, that gets passed over, and stepped on, and kicked around till they are tired of playing then left behind to endure the pain alone, until the next comes by to kick me again.
I'm the homeless puppy that has so much love to give and no one to give it too.
I'm the volcano that holds everything in to the point it cant take anymore and it spews its energy all over.
I'm that puppy that runs away because he's tired of giving so much love and being shoo'd away.
I know that one day someone will pick up that rock and keep it, and sit in that chair and be comfortable, use that pen, and vent the volcano, play upon the trees and smell the leaves, play in the snow, and come back again and again to gaze upon the waterfall, place a picture with in the frame, and take a walk through the sand.
I know this to be true , but it still doesnt help the loneliness of today.
