Today we spoke again I called to hear your voice It sounded sad like rain You couldn't make a choice Through all that we had shared The passion at what cost I caught you unaware You left me used and lost I begged you please to let me go So I could carry on But how you didn't know For all your hope was gone And so my love, I say goodbye To all my wasted dreams As all my hopes that we could fly Were dashed by silent screams And should someday you come to find Your life and love are free Give thought to who you left behind The one that loved you...me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Elizabeth Galvez �2002 Elizabeth Galvez ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
