Being smarter than God?

Frankenstein lives!

Or is it Dr.Mengele, or Dr Fart

It’s hard to tell them all apart

Most wear glasses and white coats

Buried heads deep in their notes

Either work on mice or toads

Not that they’re shy

Work on turkeys or a fly

Even ducks and lambs

Don’t escape their charms

Professor Brutal you can see

Has a whole menagerie

Securely in a barn

To keep them all from harm

But alas now one escaped

The man he was, now aped

His head grotesquely shaped

In drop cloth should be draped

His capture not delayed

The townsfolk up in arms

Not convinced of the monkeys charms

Take the torch

To find the ape named George

The good Doctor much concerned

When of the outcry learned

Protect his pride and joy

And new found toy

A ruse did he employ

Freed all his little critters

Make them run and give them jitters

Monsters big and small

He let out of the stall

And soon enough you see

Where first was one now three

Now exponentially

Took over land and sea

That of the brave and free

No end in sight could see

Elected members now irate

Over the affairs of state

Past legislation now too late

The fox had left the gate

The chickens running now the roost

Did their alliance boost?

With members of the other

Mixed up creed or fodder

No doctors now to bother

The tree of knowledge now bare and waste

Stands alone, a sign of haste

Of sins, of souls unchaste,

Forbidden fruits to taste

That with knowledge where encased

But wisdom that was God’s domain

Lacking that drove them insane!
